Ethos Veterinary Health in Western Massachusetts is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to provide high‑level emergency care on a three 12‑hour shift schedule. The starting salary ranges from $160,000 to $180,000 with tiered production bonuses and a sign‑on bonus plus relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure.
• Completion of a rotating internship or 2+ years' experience practicing emergency medicine preferred.
• Confident in managing emergency cases in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong communication with clients and a collaborative spirit.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and teamwork in emergency care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency and critical care to a diverse caseload of companion animals.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for urgent and emergent conditions.
• Provide comprehensive emergency care with triage, admission, and monitoring.
• Perform emergency procedures and stabilize critically ill patients using evidence-based medicine.
• Cut soft tissue emergency surgeries as needed.
• Work with veterinarians, technicians, and staff to ensure compassionate care.
• Communicate clearly with pet owners during stressful situations.
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture.
