Overview

Gasow Veterinary Hospital is seeking an Experienced Surgeon or Associate Veterinarian with Advanced Surgery Experience to join our thriving hospital!

Our brand-new, AAHA accredited, state-of-the-art facility, Gasow Veterinary Hospital, is ready for you! Our new cutting-edge hospital features 14 spacious exam rooms, 3 advanced surgical suites, a 2-table dental suite, and dedicated doctor offices. We're equipped with an in-house lab and pharmacy to ensure seamless patient care.

Our technology includes a CT scanner, ultrasound, digital x-ray, cold laser, and an oncology hood. Surgeons will have access to the latest tools, including laparoscopy, endoscopy, cautery, and ligature for enhanced precision and treatment options.

We are looking for an experienced surgeon or associate veterinarian to focus on surgery. At least two dedicated procedure days per week will be required. Experience performing procedures such as splenectomy, cystotomy, foreign body removal, orthopedics, etc. is required. This role offers opportunities to mentor new grads while also exploring leadership training for continued professional development.

Requirements:
  • Active and Clear MI Veterinarian License
  • Interest in Surgery is a MUST
  • Surgical experience is a PLUS!
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, DVMs, and teammates in a team-oriented environment.
