Job summary

Mission Pet Health is seeking a Student Advocate to bridge the gap between the company and university communities. You will build relationships with students, faculty, and clubs, promoting career opportunities and leading engagement initiatives.

You will organize campus events, share externship opportunities, and help promote our presence on campus while gaining leadership and clinical exposure through rotations and networking opportunities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled veterinary student (1st–3rd year).
• Active engagement in school community and veterinary student clubs.
• Not employed by another veterinary group as a student representative.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary link between Mission Pet Health and university students, faculty, and clubs.
• Promote awareness and participation in DVM student programs through networking, email outreach, and meetings.
• Organize campus events at least once per semester, managing logistics from scheduling to catering.
• Share information with peers about externships, job openings, and career paths within the Mission Pet Health network.
• Gather campus insights on job fairs, visits from our teammates, and campus events promotion.
• Complete at least one clinical rotation at a Mission Pet Health hospital within the first year.
• Support social media by providing monthly content about experiences and student events.
