Mission Pet Health is seeking a Student Advocate to connect our network with veterinary students at your school. You will build relationships with faculty, clubs, and students, promoting career opportunities and organizing engagement activities each semester.

You’ll gain real-world leadership experience, participate in clinical rotations, and contribute to our social media storytelling. This paid role offers valuable professional networking across the U.S. veterinary community.

Qualifications

• Current 1st, 2nd, or 3rd-year veterinary student status.
• Active engagement within your school community and veterinary student clubs.
• You must not be employed by another veterinary group as a student representative.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary link between Mission Pet Health and your university’s students, faculty, and student organizations.
• Promote awareness and participation in DVM student programs through networking, email outreach, and meetings.
• Host at least one engagement event per semester, managing logistics from scheduling to catering.
• Share information about externships, job openings, and career paths within the Mission Pet Health network.
• Gather campus insights and assist with visits from Mission Pet Health teammates.
• Complete at least one clinical rotation at a Mission Pet Health hospital within the first year.
• Support social media by providing monthly content about experiences and events.
