VRCCO in Bend, OR is seeking a Specialty Care Coordinator (SCC) to deliver exceptional client service for referring partners and pet parents. You will coordinate referrals across multiple specialty services, manage medical records, and ensure accurate appointment readiness with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a fast-paced administrative customer service role in veterinary emergency and/or specialty hospital setting.
• Preferred 3 years in a veterinary clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate referrals with specialists.
• Collaborate with veterinarians and staff to meet pet‑parent and patient needs.
• Manage medical records and ensure readiness for consultations.
• Facilitate clear and consistent communication with team and pet parents.
• Triage and delegate tasks as needed.
• Maintain and promote a clean, professional hospital environment.
• Maintain and promote a smooth referral workflow and waitlists.
• Utilize PIMS and AI systems for documentation and follow-ups.
