Job summary

Qualifications

• Observation and interpretation of animal behavior required.
• Ability to restrain and handle animals using low-stress techniques.
• Valid NC RVT license or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Fear Free Shelter certification within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Medical Branch communications, records, and logistics.
• Support Senior Director and collaborate with another Manager.
• Assist in examinations, treatments, monitoring, and testing.
• Perform data entry and administer medications as needed.
• Coordinate veterinary care and schedule examinations.
• Assist with humane euthanasia and perform if certified.
• Maintain PPE use and promote safety practices.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development.
