Qualifications

• LVT (Licensed Veterinary Technician) preferred.
• Laboratory Animal Technician (LAT) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide peri-operative and post-operative care of laboratory animals, including anesthesia support.
• Prepare and maintain surgical suites and equipment for procedures.
• Perform daily health rounds, patient care, and treatment administration with accurate documentation.
• Conduct quality assurance, health surveillance, and equipment maintenance for research projects.
• Train research staff and supervise veterinary technology students/interns.
