Caldwell Pet Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to join our fast-paced two-doctor practice. You’ll welcome clients and patients with warmth, schedule appointments, check in/out, and manage medical records with precision.

Qualifications

  • Previous veterinary reception experience is preferred but not required.
  • Bilingual skills are preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on building long-term client relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
  • Answer incoming phone calls and route messages appropriately
  • Respond to client voicemails in a timely manner
  • Schedule appointments and manage a multi-doctor calendar
  • Check patients in and out while maintaining accurate client and patient information
  • Collect payments and process invoices accurately
  • Maintain complete and organized medical records
  • Coordinate communication between clients and the medical team
  • Help facilitate smooth patient flow throughout the day
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
  • Provide excellent customer service during every client interaction
  • Support teammates throughout the hospital as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality of client and patient information
  • Help create a positive experience for every client and patient who visits the hospital

Schedule: Five days per week with a flexible schedule; Saturday availability required; no nights or holiday hours
