Job summary

Lawrence Animal Hospital, part of Vetcor, in Princeton, NJ, is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to join our friendly team. This full-time role offers four-day workweeks with occasional Saturday shifts and a starting pay of $17–$19 per hour.

Veterinary experience is preferred, and we’re happy to train motivated individuals. You will be the first friendly voice and face for clients, handling scheduling, check-in/check-out, and client-doctor communication while maintaining a welcoming front desk

Qualifications

• Veterinary or front desk experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• A passion for pets and caring for clients daily.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and help clients with questions and requests.
• Schedule appointments and keep the day running smoothly.
• Greet clients and patients, and handle check-in and check-out.
• Communicate clearly between clients and doctors.
• Keep the front desk and lobby clean, tidy, and welcoming.
• Assist with light cleaning duties around the hospital.
