At BluePearl Pet Hospital, our Veterinary Receptionists are vital to the success of our hospital. You will be the first BluePearl Associate that clients see, ensuring each client receives the care and attention they need. You must be able to function calmly and compassionately in emotionally challenging situations.

As a Veterinary Receptionist, your responsibilities include:

1. Greeting clients warmly and making friendly eye contact at every entry.
2. Maintaining a friendly smile, strong eye contact, and an approachable demeanor.
3. Listening compassionately to clients.
4. Communicating clearly, slowly, and calmly in person and on the phone.
5. Assessing clients' needs and the pet's condition upon arrival.
6. Determining emergency priority levels.
7. Responding to non-patient calls and visitors, directing them appropriately.
8. Confirming appointments and providing clients with preparation instructions.
9. Offering emotional support and resources to grieving clients discreetly.
10. Serving as a liaison during pet remains handling, ensuring a respectful and complete process.
