Otis is reimagining how veterinary care is delivered — increasing access to care for pet parents, while supporting an overburdened veterinary system. Our mission is to transform pet health and wellness for the many, not just the few.

We’re looking for a licensed veterinarian to join us on a part-time basis with a focus on afternoon and/or weekend shifts. This is an hourly, remote role designed for flexibility — ideal for vets who want to supplement their clinic work or explore telemedicine in a meaningful way.

Role Overview:

You will provide virtual care through Otis’ telehealth platform — evaluating patient history, reviewing photos, answering questions, and prescribing treatment plans when appropriate. We’ll support you with clinical protocols, operational tools, and a dedicated care team, so you can focus on what you do best.

As part of our consults, you will review pet-submitted history and photos, use your clinical judgment to decide when treatment is appropriate, and establish VCPR through messaging or video depending on the state. You’ll also document your consults clearly and collaborate with our medical director to ensure high-quality care.

What You'll Do:

* Are a licensed DVM in good standing in at least one of these states: Virginia, Pennsylvania, Alabama

* Have at least 3 years of clinical experience, with confidence treating common conditions like allergies

* Are excited about expanding access to care through digital tools

* Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners — especially when simplifying medical terms into everyday language

* Are comfortable working independently, with clinical guidance when needed

* Bring a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset — you’re comfortable navigating ambiguity and proactively resolving issues

* Are thoughtful, compassionate, and genuinely enjoy working with both pets and people

* Are open to occasional evening or weekend consults when needed

* Have prior experience with telemedicine

* Hold multiple licenses

* Have an interest in helping shape the future of pet care delivery
