Role: Customer Service Representative/Receptionist
Status: Full-time
Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
Schedule: Hours will vary, including Saturdays and various weekdays, to equal 40 hours

What You\'ll Do

  • Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and a helpful attitude
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients by phone and in person
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to client questions efficiently
  • Record, route, and follow up on messages for veterinarians and support staff
  • Schedule veterinary appointments, procedures, and boarding reservations
  • Check patients and boarding guests in and out
  • Confirm appointments and communicate preparation or arrival instructions
  • Maintain accurate client, patient, and reservation information
  • Coordinate communication between clients, veterinarians, technicians, assistants, and boarding staff
  • Help clients understand hospital procedures, policies, and available services
  • Review invoices and process payments accurately
  • Provide receipts and assist with basic billing questions
  • Maintain confidentiality of client and patient information
  • Respond compassionately during emotional or stressful conversations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
  • Assist with administrative tasks and daily opening or closing procedures
  • Support teammates and contribute to a positive, efficient work environment
  • Provide excellent service during weekday, weekend, and holiday shifts
  • Help ensure every client and pet receives attentive, respectful care
