Aspen Grove Veterinary Care is Hiring a Veterinary Receptionist!
Role: Veterinary Receptionist Status: Full-time Salary: $15–$17 per hour
The Veterinary Client Services Team is responsible for efficiently managing all client needs, coordinating the veterinarians' appointment schedule and boarding/day‑care reservations, performing telephone triage, maintaining electronic medical records, discussing charges and payment policies, processing payments, and managing the treatment reminder system. The team also assists with client retention and community outreach activities and builds positive, professional relationships with clients and staff.
Responsibilities
- Manage client communication and appointments for veterinarians and support staff.
- Perform telephone triage, distinguishing routine from emergency cases.
- Maintain and update electronic medical records accurately.
- Explain charges, payment policies, and process payments with professionalism.
- Track and administer treatment reminder system.
- Support client retention efforts and community outreach initiatives.
- Represent the clinic with a positive, customer‑focused attitude.
Qualifications
- Experience in a fast‑paced veterinary or medical front‑desk environment preferred.
- High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable handling multiple tasks simultaneously and moving around frequently.
- Professional demeanor with outstanding team‑player attitude.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn clinic software quickly.
