Job summary

Golden Gate Veterinary Specialists, a member of Animal Outpatient Specialty Network (AOSN), is seeking a friendly Receptionist to join our Surgery-focused team. The receptionist will provide exceptional client service, answer phones, schedule appointments, and maintain patient records.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, basic computer skills, dependability, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Experience in veterinary hospitals is a plus; no nights or weekends.

Requirements

Education and Physical Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must have experience working in the public (ie: restaurant, retail or service business)
• Experience in a veterinary hospital or doctor’s office is a plus
• Dependable attendance is required
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds
• The ability to walk, bend, squat, stand or reach constantly during a minimum 8-hour day
