Job summary

Catoctin Veterinary Clinic in Leesburg, VA is seeking an experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our growing team. You’ll greet clients, schedule appointments, handle payments, and support daily hospital operations with a friendly, professional demeanor.

We offer an competitive hourly rate of $18-22/hour, flexible 4x10-hour shifts with only 2 weekend shifts per month, plus a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and PTO.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months job-related experience required.
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
• Ability to multitask in a busy small animal hospital.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and respond to questions; process check-ins/outs.
• Answer phone calls, screen for service needs, and schedule appointments.
• Handle incoming/outgoing mail and email.
• Maintain client information and service data in the practice management software.
• Monitor waiting area for cleanliness and escalate complex matters to senior staff.
