Dogwood Veterinary Specialty & Emergency in Dunwoody, GA, is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative for full-time shifts (First, Swing, Overnight) starting Fall 2026. This role is not entry-level and requires a compassionate, organized front-desk professional who thrives in a 24‑hour emergency environment.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as veterinary front desk or similar client service role.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
• Comfortable supporting clients during emotional and high‑pressure situations.
• Reliable attendance and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and patients with professionalism, compassion, and empathy.
• Answer a multi‑line phone system, prioritizing emergency situations.
• Schedule specialty consultations, emergency visits, rechecks, and follow‑ups.
• Provide timely updates regarding hospital workflow, patient status, and estimated wait times.
• Assist clients through emotionally challenging situations with professionalism and kindness.
• Register patients, obtain accurate medical histories and client information.
• Maintain complete and accurate electronic medical records.
• Coordinate communication between clients and the medical team.
• Process invoices, payments, estimates, and financial transactions accurately.
• Assist with prescription pick‑ups and client documentation.
• Support scheduling across multiple specialty departments.
