Pacific Animal Hospital is seeking an outgoing Veterinary Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our hospital in Redondo Beach. In this fast-paced role, you will manage appointments, patient flow, and front-desk interactions while delivering compassionate client service.

You will handle multi-line phones, process payments, and share information about our services. Ideal candidates are organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in a team-based environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a customer service, or reception role

• Proficiency in a multi-phone line system and in-person client support

Veterinary Receptionist / Customer Service Representative

Pacific Animal Hospital is seeking an outgoing Veterinary Receptionist to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital. In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused customer service environment.

Schedule and compensation:

• Compensation: $ 21 - $25 per hour, for each hour worked
• This is a flexible full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Saturday .

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

• 1+ years of experience in a customer service, or reception role
• Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience preferred
• Proficiency in the following skills:
  • Ability to manage a multi-phone line system while assisting in-person clients
  • Experience working with veterinary practice management software, especially IDEXX Neo, preferred
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to provide compassionate, professional service to clients during both routine and emotionally sensitive situations
  • Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars preferred
  • Ability to accurately process payments and maintain financial records
  • Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with a team
