Laurel Pet Hospital in West Hollywood, CA is seeking an outgoing Client Service Representative to be the welcoming face of our team. You will manage appointments, greet clients, answer multi-line phones, and help clients with information about services for dogs, cats, pocket pets and pigs.

This full-time role offers a 4 x 10 schedule, weekend availability, competitive hourly pay of $22–$24, and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, disability, 401k, and PTO.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of veterinary reception experience
• Experience with front-desk tasks in a veterinary or healthcare setting preferred

Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative

West Hollywood, CA

Laurel Pet Hospital is seeking an outgoing Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital.

In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services - for dogs, cats, pocket pets, and potbellied pigs. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused customer service environment in one of Los Angeles' most vibrant neighborhoods.

Schedule and compensation:

• Compensation: $22 - 24per hour, for each hour worked
• Schedule: This is a full-time position, with a 4 x 10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Sunday. Weekend availability is required. No on-call requirements.

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

• 1+ years of experience in a veterinary reception role required
• Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience preferred
• Proficiency in the following skills:
  • Ability to manage a multi-phone line system while assisting in-person clients
  • Experience working with veterinary practice management software, especially ImproMed,preferred
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to provide compassionate, professional service to clients during both routine and emotionally sensitive situations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars preferred
  • Ability to accurately process payments and maintain financial records
  • Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with a team
  • Ability to remain calm, professional and solution-oriented during busy periods
