South Shreveport Animal Hospital is seeking an outgoing Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital. You will manage appointments, patient flow, multi-line phones, and provide compassionate service.

This role is a flexible part-time schedule with defined hours and alternating Saturdays. Compensation is $13.50–$14 per hour, with benefits including medical/dental/vision, life and disability, EAP, 401(k) with match, PTO, and personal pet

Qualifications

• 1+ years in customer service/reception/front-desk
• Previous veterinary reception or healthcare-related front-desk preferred
• Proficiency managing multi-line phones while delivering exceptional service
• Experience with practice management software (Cornerstone preferred)
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
• Experience scheduling appointments, coordinating calendars, and processing payments
• Compassionate, professional, and solution-oriented in routine and emotional situations

South Shreveport Animal Hospital is seeking an outgoing Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital.

In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused customer service environment.

Schedule And Compensation

• Compensation: $13.50-14 per hour, for each hour worked
• This is a Flexible part-time schedule: Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays (1:00–6:30 PM) plus alternating Saturdays (7:30 AM–12:00 PM).

Minimum Qualifications And Skill Set

• 1+ years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role
• Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience preferred
• Proficiency in the following skills:
  • Ability to manage multi-line phones while providing exceptional client service
  • Experience with veterinary practice management software (especially Cornerstone) preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Experience scheduling appointments, coordinating calendars, and processing payments
  • Compassionate, professional, and solution-oriented in both routine and emotional situations
