Job summary

Miller Animal Hospital is seeking a Client Ambassador to be the welcoming face of our veterinary team in Lansing, MI. You will support front desk operations, greet clients and their pets, book appointments, update medical charts, and process payments while delivering warm, compassionate service in a busy practice.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of customer service experience, a High School diploma or GED, and comfort around animals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of prior customer service experience.
• Reception experience highly preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working around animals, including those that may be anxious or aggressive.
• Physical requirements: stand, sit, move frequently; bend, kneel, and stretch as needed.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet clients and pets upon arrival.
• Answer multi-line phones, schedule appointments, and update medical charts.
• Process monetary transactions and handle client payments.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, stocking, scanning, and uploading records.
• Support kennel and boarding staff as needed with dog walking, feeding, and check-in/check-out.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area to ensure a welcoming space.
