Job summary

Adrian Animal Clinic, part of the Veterinary United Family, is seeking a Client Ambassador and Veterinary Assistant to welcome clients and their pets and support daily hospital operations. You will help create an inviting front desk experience and assist with routine clinical tasks under supervision.

The ideal candidate is people- and animal-friendly, energetic, with 1+ year of customer service experience and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

  • HS diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ year of customer service experience.
  • Reception experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfort around animals including anxious or aggressive.
  • Assist Vet Techs with X-Rays, Blood draws, and administering meds

Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet clients and pets upon arrival.
  • Answer multi-line phones, schedule appointments, and update medical charts.
  • Process monetary transactions and handle client payments.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, stocking, scanning, and uploading records.
  • Support kennel and boarding staff with dog walking, feeding, and check-in/check-out.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Assist with X-rays, blood draws, or administering meds

Role Overview: Client Ambassador/Veterinary Assistant

As a Client Ambassador, You\'ll Support The Hospital’s Daily Operations And Create An Inviting And Efficient Front Desk Experience. You Will

  • Assist with: X-rays, drawing blood, or administering medications
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1+ year of prior customer service experience.
  • Reception experience highly preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without restriction.
  • Comfortable working around animals, including those that may be anxious or aggressive.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand, sit, and move frequently; bend, kneel, and stretch as needed to assist pets and clients; and maintain composure and control in a dynamic, high-energy environment.
