Job summary

Clementon Animal Hospital is hiring an experienced Veterinary Receptionist to be the first point of contact for clients and their pets, ensuring a warm, professional welcome and smooth hospital operations.

The role is full-time with a flexible schedule including evenings and Saturdays, offering $18–$21 per hour based on experience, competitive benefits, and growth opportunities within the Vetcor family.

Qualifications

  • Previous veterinary reception experience required.
  • Experience managing a busy front desk and multi-line phone system.
  • Strong understanding of veterinary appointment flow and client communication.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion.
  • Answer multi-line phone systems and assist clients with questions.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments while maintaining an efficient hospital workflow.
  • Check clients and patients in and out.
  • Process payments accurately and review invoices with clients.
  • Maintain accurate client and patient records.
  • Communicate appointment details, hospital services, and follow-up instructions.
  • Help manage a busy appointment schedule and prioritize urgent client needs.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
  • Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, assistants, and fellow receptionists to provide exceptional client service.
  • Support clients with empathy during both routine visits and emotional situations.
