Animal Emergency Center of Yorktown is seeking an experienced receptionist to greet clients and patients, triage concerns, and manage registrations with compassion. You will handle calls, emails, scheduling, and payments while supporting veterinarians and the broader team.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of veterinary receptionist experience, strong computer skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced emergency setting.

• Minimum 1 year veterinary receptionist experience preferred.

Animal Emergency Center of Yorktown is an emergency / urgent care hospital in Yorktown, VA. Our technician and support team are tenured and highly capable of supporting our veterinarians with any patient needs that come through our doors! *The available shifts for this position includeSunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday 6pm - 2am*

Maintain the visual appeal ofthe hospital reception area, greet and welcome clients and patients, answer questions and triage client concerns, answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution, schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow, check in and check out clients and process payments. Our receptionists offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need to our clients and must be comfortable with various medical outcomes.

Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases.

Qualifications

• Experienced Receptionist with a minimum of 1-year veterinary experiencepreferred.

Additional Information

Pay Range:Starting at $16, increasing dependent on level of experience.
