Position Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented veterinary receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be our client's first point of contact, providing excellent customer service while managing administrative tasks in a fast-paced veterinary environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism.
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the clinic’s calendar.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is up-to-date.
- Process payments and handle billing inquiries.
- Coordinate communication between veterinarians, technicians, and clients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
- Handle incoming emails and messages promptly.
- Assist with inventory management as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional veterinary technology or related field education is a plus.
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) with a customer-focused attitude.
- Proficient in using computer systems; experience with veterinary software (AviMark) is an advantage.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
