Horse Heaven Hills Pet Urgent Care & Veterinary Center is hiring a full‑time front‑desk receptionist to be the first point of contact for our veterinary clients. We seek a customer service professional who excels in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and is passionate about animal care.

Salary ranges from $17.13 to $20.50 per hour with benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, and a 401(k) plan. Hours vary; 30–40 hours per week with 10-hour shifts on some days.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their pets; manage check-in and escort to exam rooms.

Horse Heaven Hills Pet Urgent Care & Veterinary Center is hiring a full-time front-desk receptionist to be the first point of contact for our veterinary clients, playing a crucial role in setting the tone for their visit. We are looking for a customer service professional who excels in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and is passionate about animal care.

Salary:

$17.13 - $20.50

Schedule:

Hours varies. 30-40 hours per week. Monday - Saturday 7:15am-11:30pm Sunday7:30am-7:30pm10 hour shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet clients and their pets, complete the appointment sign-in process, confirm appointment details, and escort clients to exam rooms.
• Ensure accurate service and product sales accounting, handle payments, process credit/debit cards, and schedule future appointments.
• Answer client calls for appointments, hospital inquiries, medication refills, and other requests. Make outbound calls for appointment reminders and follow-ups.
• Understand common vaccination protocols, basic lab tests, common diseases, veterinary terminology, and pet behavior.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization to ensure a positive client experience.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a veterinary receptionist or medical office assistant preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to maintain a calm, professional, and positive demeanor
