At BluePearl Pet Hospital, our Veterinary Receptionists are vital to the success of our hospital. You will be the first BluePearl Associate that clients see, ensuring they receive the care and attention they need. You must be able to remain calm and compassionate in emotional and challenging situations.
Responsibilities of a Veterinary Client Service Representative include:
Greeting clients warmly and making friendly eye contact upon entry.
Offering a friendly smile, strong eye contact, and an approachable demeanor.
Listening compassionately to clients.
Speaking clearly, slowly, and calmly in person and over the phone to ensure understanding.
Assessing each client’s needs and the pet’s condition upon arrival.
Determining emergency priority status.
Responding to non-patient calls or visitors and directing them appropriately.
Confirming appointments in advance and providing accurate preparation instructions.
Offering emotional support and resources to grieving clients discreetly and compassionately.
Handling pet remains with complete, accurate, and compassionate processes.
