Colorado Animal Specialty & Emergency (CASE), part of Ethos Veterinary Health, seeks a Veterinary Radiologist in Boulder, CO. The role focuses on building a premier diagnostic imaging service within a top specialty hospital, collaborating with multiple specialties and a dedicated imaging team.

You’ll interpret advanced imaging studies, participate in cross-service planning, and mentor staff while benefiting from a robust ProSal model and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for Colorado veterinary licensure.
• Board Certification in Radiology (DACVR) or Residency Trained in Diagnostic Imaging.
• Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach.

• A passion for continuous learning, teamwork, and advancing specialty medicine.

Responsibilities

• Interpret advanced imaging studies to support diagnostic workups across multiple services.
• Collaborate with Surgery, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Emergency & Critical Care, and Neurology to integrate imaging findings into care plans.
• Provide timely reporting and clinical consultation while maintaining high diagnostic standards.
• Develop and refine imaging protocols, workflows, and QA processes as the department grows.
• Mentor interns, technicians, and team members on imaging best practices.
• Utilize MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, radiography, CT, and interventional imaging capabilities.
• Participate in hospital-wide case discussions and interdisciplinary rounds.
• Work with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to deliver compassionate care.
• Communicate clearly with pet owners during stressful situations.
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture.
