At Overland Park Veterinary Emergency & Specialty (OPVES), you'll do more than provide diagnostic imaging support, you'll become an essential part of a rapidly growing specialty and emergency hospital committed to delivering exceptional patient care through collaboration and advanced medicine.

OPVES is a fast-paced, 24-hour emergency and referral hospital located in the heart of the Kansas City metro area. Our state-of-the-art, 22,000-square-foot facility is supported by a highly trained team of more than 70 professionals and a collaborative group of specialists in Internal Medicine, Oncology, Cardiology, Surgery, and Critical Care. As our Radiologist, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary team that values communication, teamwork, and the integration of imaging expertise into comprehensive patient care.

Our hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment capabilities, including CT, diagnostic ultrasound, endoscopy, digital radiology, a full-service ICU, in-house laboratory, large operating suites, echocardiography and ECG equipment, and a dedicated echo suite. Additionally, our nearby 10,000-square-foot Overland Park location provides 24-hour emergency care and specialty services in Cardiology, Internal Medicine, and Surgery, creating opportunities for collaboration across multiple sites.

In your day-to-day, you will:

What You Bring
  • DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure.
  • Board Certification in Radiology (DACVR) or equivalent credentials.
