Responsibilities

  • Interpret a range of imaging modalities to support diagnostic workups across specialty and emergency services.

  • Help develop and refine imaging protocols and best practices.
  • Mentor interns, residents, clinicians, and team members on diagnostic imaging interpretation.
  • Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide compassionate care.
  • Communicate clearly with colleagues regarding diagnostic findings and recommendations.

At Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center (WVRC), you'll do more than provide advanced diagnostic imaging, you'll join one of the most respected and collaborative specialty hospitals in the Midwest. We're seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Radiologist to become part of our thriving multi-specialty referral center in southeastern Wisconsin.

You'll join a highly engaged group of specialists, emergency clinicians, technicians, and support staff who genuinely enjoy working together in a positive, drama-free environment. As a VetCOT Level 2 Trauma Center, WVRC offers the opportunity to work alongside specialists in Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Critical Care, Surgery, Anesthesiology, Ophthalmology, and Rehabilitation, as well as a large team of emergency veterinarians, emergency trainees, and rotating interns. We also have a dedicated full-time social worker who provides support for both our clients and team members.

Our 25,500-square-foot state-of-the-art hospital is designed to support advanced specialty medicine and features:

  • 128-slice GE CT
  • Advanced fluoroscopy capabilities with a new C-arm
  • Central PACS system for seamless image storage and remote reviews
  • Expanded specialty and emergency services designed for future growth

As a Radiologist, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with specialists across multiple disciplines while helping shape imaging protocols and providing critical diagnostic support for complex cases. Through Ethos Veterinary Health, you'll also have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across the network and potentially provide imaging support to other Ethos hospitals.
