Job summary

Pacific Northwest Pet ER & Specialty Center in Vancouver, Washington is seeking a Radiologist to join a 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital. The role offers a ProSal model with a $200,000–$250,000 base salary, with collaboration across Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Surgery, and ECC.

The Radiologist will interpret imaging studies, work with a multi-disciplinary team, and support advanced diagnostics including MRI/CT, ultrasound, and interventional radiology.

Qualifications

  • DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for Washington state veterinary licensure.
  • Board Certification in Radiology (ACVR) or residency-trained status.
  • Strong communication and client-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret imaging studies to support multi-specialty patient care.

  • Mentor team members on imaging best practices.
  • Engage with veterinarians, technicians, and owners with empathy.

Our radiology service plays an integral role in the diagnosis and management of complex cases across multiple specialties, allowing you to maintain meaningful clinical connections with patients and colleagues while enjoying flexibility in your caseload.

You'll collaborate closely with specialists in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Surgery, Emergency & Critical Care, and other services to deliver the highest level of care. Our Internal Medicine and Cardiology teams have a strong interest in interventional and endoscopic procedures and are eager to partner with a Radiologist who shares a collaborative and innovative approach to medicine.

In Your Day-to-Day, You Will:
  • Interpret a range of imaging modalities to support diagnostic workups across departments
  • Collaborate with specialists to integrate imaging findings into case management
  • Provide timely reporting, with defined turnaround expectations and flexible teleradiology options
  • Help develop and refine imaging protocols
  • Mentor team members on imaging best practices
  • Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care
  • Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations

What You Bring
  • DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for Washington state veterinary licensure
