Job summary

PetCure Oncology in Seattle, WA is seeking a Radiation Therapist to administer radiation therapies, including SRS, to veterinary patients under a board-certified radiation oncologist. The role emphasizes accurate treatment delivery, patient care, anesthesia, and teamwork.

Requirements include ARRT certification or state licensing, 2+ years in radiation therapy, and familiarity with Varian/ARIA systems. Strong communication and a willingness to learn veterinary anatomy are essential.

Qualifications

  • ARRT certified or licensed in Radiation Therapy.
  • Minimum two years as a staff radiation therapist in human or veterinary RT.
  • Experience with stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) and RapidArc-capable linac is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver prescribed radiation therapy to canine and feline patients under supervision.
  • Communicate with pet families about treatment, side effects, and follow-ups.
  • Accurately document patient info and upload imaging for planning.
  • Assist in QA, patient positioning, and equipment checks.
  • Promote SRS and participate in community and hospital education.
