PetCure Oncology, a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner, seeks a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our Radiation Oncology team in Seattle, WA. This full-time, 4-day work week offers 32–40 hours with no holidays or on-call.

The ideal candidate excels in anesthesia administration and monitoring, has phlebotomy experience, and can deliver compassionate patient and client care while contributing to department growth.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Veterinary Technician WA state is required.
  • Minimum 2 years veterinary experience; oncology/specialty experience a plus.
  • Phlebotomy experience required.
  • Strong anesthesia administration and monitoring skills required.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with good communication.

PetCure Oncology, a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner, one of the most exciting and innovative veterinary oncology providers in the country, is seeking a unique, highly energized, compassionate Licensed Veterinary Technician at our new Seattle location.


. The ideal candidate needs to be highly skilled in administering and monitoring anesthesia. This position will serve as the technician supporting the patients seen through the radiation oncology service. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, compassionate patient care, excellent client care and communication, and involvement in the department's growth.


Ideal Candidates:


  • Required: 2 years of veterinary experience required, specialty hospital and/or oncology experience is a plus.

  • Required: Licensed Veterinary Technician in WA state

  • Phlebotomy experience required

  • Experience in managing critical patients preferred

  • Required: Strong background in administering and monitoring anesthesia

  • Ability to multi-task, adjust, and learn in a fast-paced environment

  • Team player with great communication skills

  • Excellent computer skills and can learn and assimilate quickly to new computer applications - high level of technology as a cloud-based company.

  • Can fully use their technical skills, as well as learn from new experiences

  • Provide input and assist with all aspects of patient care

  • Promoting PetCure Oncology and SRS through education and participation in community and veterinary events and other duties according to company needs.
