Job summary

Thrive Pet Healthcare seeks a Radiation Therapist at the Mansfield PetCure Oncology center. You will administer RT to dogs and cats, support anesthesia and patient care, and ensure high-quality documentation and team collaboration. Strong communication and a willingness to learn veterinary anatomy are required.

Two years of radiation therapy experience, ARRT or state license, and familiarity with Varian/ARIA systems are preferred. Join a leading network providing advanced cancer care for pets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as a staff radiation therapist in human or veterinary medicine.
• ARRT certification or valid state license in Radiation Therapy.
• Experience with stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) and RapidArc-capable linac preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed radiation therapy to canine and feline patients.
• Explain radiation procedures, side effects, and follow-up to families.
• Assist in anesthesia induction, monitoring, and patient care during treatment.
• Document in medical records and upload imaging for planning.
• Perform QA, CT imaging, positioning, and treatment delivery.
