Qualifications

• Experience leading teams or managing people, including staff and volunteers.
• Minimum of one year working or volunteering in an animal shelter, veterinary clinic, or hospital.
• Excellent communications skills and comfort with public speaking.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams, provide strategic direction, and promote lifesaving objectives.
• Oversee veterinary care teams of staff and volunteers and coordinate operations.
• Recruiting, hiring, mentoring, and performance feedback.
• Prepare and manage the department's budget and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with other departments to achieve lifesaving goals.
