Job summary

Santee Animal Hospital in Charleston, SC is seeking a courteous veterinary practice manager to coordinate and oversee all office administration, inventory, scheduling, and staff development.

You will train staff, manage client communications, handle treatment cost inquiries, and ensure policies and procedures keep the hospital operating smoothly while delivering compassionate care to our patients.

Qualifications

• Experienced or Certified Veterinary Practice Manager with 1+ year of management experience preferred or 3+ years veterinary experience.
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and how to run a veterinary hospital.
• Compassionate, calm, team player, multitasker and strong communicator.
• Highly organized and possess computer skills; willingness to advance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all office administration procedures.
• Order and manage inventory, scheduling, and staff training.
• Resolve staff conflicts and ensure efficient operation of the hospital.
• Answer pet owners' questions regarding policies, appointments, and costs.
• Develop staff, conduct appraisals, and manage performance improvements.
