Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role, preferably in a veterinary practice or healthcare setting.
• CVPM, CVBL and/or a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or other relevant areas are preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated experience in P&L management and financial analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all practice staff, including veterinary technicians, receptionists, and support staff.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
• Develop staff schedules to ensure coverage within labor budgets.
• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment and empower the team.
• Act as a champion for new initiatives and motivate the team to achieve goals.
• Oversee budgeting, billing, expenses, and accounts receivable.
• Build meaningful client relationships and deliver exceptional service.
• Oversee daily operations: inventory, scheduling, office supplies, and equipment maintenance.
• Implement marketing strategies and expand community presence.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, OSHA, and health and safety requirements.
