Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital in Glendale, AZ is seeking a Veterinary Practice Manager to oversee day-to-day hospital operations and lead a team of skilled veterinary professionals. Your role focuses on driving business results while ensuring exceptional client and patient experiences.

You’ll partner with senior leadership to manage budgeting, scheduling and staff development, and you’ll educate clients about preventive care and our Optimum Wellness Plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Three years related experience required (health care, veterinary profession, service industry, etc.), including direct supervisory experience (includes hiring, associate development, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Interviewing, hiring and developing associates, to evaluating the hospital’s processes, progress and productivity.
• Our Practice Managers also train associates on how to educate clients about our Optimum Wellness Plans®, preventive care, pet health needs and hospital services.
• Budgeting and planning for the hospital.
• Supporting daily operations and staff.
• Scheduling associates, coordinating time off and managing continuing education needs.
