Job summary

The Veterinary Medical Center of Woodland Hills is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to oversee daily operations, improve efficiency, and deliver high-quality patient care while ensuring outstanding client service in a fast-paced veterinary setting.

You will manage staff, finances, and operations, while collaborating with veterinarians to achieve growth and operational excellence, including marketing initiatives and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of managerial experience in veterinary or healthcare settings.
• Degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred; CVPM/CVBL encouraged.
• Experience with P&L management and financial analysis.
• Ability to lead staff, manage schedules, and control labor costs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead all practice staff, including technicians, receptionists, and support staff.
• Oversee budgeting, billing, and expense management; monitor financial reports.
• Provide exceptional client service and coach staff on client communication.
• Manage inventory, scheduling, and office operations for efficiency.
• Lead marketing efforts and community outreach to grow client base.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safe workplace practices.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety policies.
