Banfield Pet Hospital in Austin, TX is seeking a Veterinary Practice Manager to lead hospital operations and support the medical team in delivering high-quality care. In partnership with the chief of staff, you will optimize daily operations and drive business results while developing associates and fostering a collaborative team environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's in business or related field, 3 years supervisory experience, and strong organizational, communication and leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Three years related supervisory experience required (health care, veterinary profession, service industry, etc.).
• Experience in healthcare or veterinary field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interviewing, hiring and developing associates, to evaluating the hospital’s processes, progress and productivity.
• Educate clients about our Optimum Wellness Plans®, preventive care, pet health needs and hospital services.
• Budgeting and planning for the hospital.
• Supporting daily operations and staff.
• Scheduling associates, coordinating time off and managing continuing education needs.
