Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Practice Manager to partner with the chief of staff in overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring high-quality veterinary care. You will lead people, develop associates, and foster an engaging team environment while optimizing growth for Banfield and PetSmart collaborators where applicable.

You’ll manage budgeting, scheduling, and education initiatives, while ensuring exceptional client and patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Three years related supervisory experience in healthcare, veterinary, or service industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline preferred, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Interviewing, hiring and developing associates.
• Evaluate hospital processes, progress and productivity.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventive care, and hospital services.
• Budgeting and planning for the hospital.
• Support daily operations and staff across teams.
• Schedule associates, coordinate time off and continuing education needs.
