Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital in Santa Clarita is seeking a Veterinary Practice Manager to lead day-to-day hospital operations and develop a high-performing team. You will partner with the chief of staff to drive business results while ensuring exceptional patient care and client experience.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business or related field, plus at least three years of supervisory experience in healthcare, veterinary, or service industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Three years of related experience required, including direct supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Interviewing, hiring and developing associates and evaluating hospital processes, progress and productivity.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventive care, pet health needs and hospital services.
• Budgeting and planning for the hospital and supporting daily operations and staff.
• Scheduling associates, coordinating time off and managing continuing education needs.
