Wooster Animal Clinic is seeking a courteous, organized Veterinary Practice Manager to oversee daily hospital operations, team performance, client service, and administrative functions in a fast-paced practice. The ideal candidate will multitask, lead staff, and maintain a positive work environment.

The role includes recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, managing payroll, and ensuring policy compliance across OSHA and DEA requirements while supporting marketing and community outreach.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a veterinary hospital or clinic.
• Knowledge of veterinary medicine terminology and how to run a veterinary hospital.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, train hospital staff and conduct evaluations.
• Recruit, onboard, schedule and manage team members in partnership with leadership.
• Oversee daily office operations, scheduling, workflow and client service.
• Manage inventory, equipment, controlled substances, and vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DEA/controlled substance requirements, and hospital policies.
