Job summary

AmeriVet Veterinary Partners is seeking a Practice Manager for Dawsonville Veterinary Hospital to lead day-to-day operations, drive growth, and build a positive culture for clients, patients, and staff.

You will oversee administrative, financial, and HR functions, collaborate with veterinarians, and implement strategies to optimize efficiency and patient care. The role offers a fast-paced environment with opportunities for professional development within the AmeriVet network.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of managerial experience, veterinary/healthcare setting preferred.
• CVPM, CVBL and/or a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related areas preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated experience in P&L management and financial analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead all practice staff, including technicians, receptionists, and support staff.
• Oversee budgeting, billing and expenses; review reports and implement action plans.
• Lead client relations and ensure exceptional customer service standards.
• Manage daily operations: inventory, scheduling, supplies, and equipment maintenance.
• Execute marketing strategies to attract new clients and grow the hospital.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, health, safety, and labor regulations.
