Common Companion Vet is seeking a proactive Practice Manager to lead day-to-day operations, oversee staff, and drive financial performance. You will partner with veterinarians to deliver high-quality care, superb client service, and efficient business operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role, preferably in a veterinary practice or healthcare setting.
• CVPM, CVBL and/or a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or other relevant areas are preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated experience in P&L management and financial analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Staff Management: Supervise and lead all practice staff, including veterinary technicians, receptionists, and support staff; manage recruitment, onboarding, training and performance.
• Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, billing and expense management; review reports and set financial goals with partners.
• Client Relations: Build meaningful connections with clients and ensure exceptional customer service.
• Operations Management: Ensure daily activities run smoothly including inventory, scheduling, and equipment maintenance.
• Marketing, Business Development, and Community Relations: Execute marketing strategies; oversee social media and community outreach.
• Compliance & Regulatory Adherence: Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and OSHA requirements; maintain records and confidentiality.
• Technology & Software Management: Train staff to use practice technology and coordinate with IT support.
