We are looking for a Practice Manager to join our team! This role is an important member of the team, and we are looking for someone to not only support the operation of the hospital but also the human component of our team. We have a strong, supportive team culture at Camden Pet Hospital and the Practice Manager would continue to support that environment while maintaining oversight of HR functions, operations, inventory, cost control, P&L management and team engagement.

Schedule:

  • Day Shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No nights
  • No Sundays

Pay Range: $50,000 - $90,000/year

Job Type: Full-time, Schedule: 8-hour shift, Work Location: In person

Required skills & qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years management experience
  • Confidence around animals and a basic knowledge of veterinary care
  • Computer skills - efficiency in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel, and Google Programs.
  • Strong leadership skills with a preference for servant style leadership
  • Strong emotional intelligence - demonstrated compassion, empathy and respect for team members, clients and patients
  • Self-Motivated and Organized
  • High attention to detail
  • Upbeat and adaptable with a positive attitude
  • Excellent client communication skills, de-escalation techniques
  • Ability to multitask
  • Full vaccinations for COVID
  • Able to lift up-to 50 pounds

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Veterinary Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
