Job summary

Orchard Road Animal Hospital in Montgomery, IL is seeking a full-time Practice Manager to lead our team of veterinarians, technicians and support staff. You will oversee day-to-day operations, manage personnel, and drive excellence in patient care.

Salary is $85,000–$100,000 per year, with a Monday–Friday schedule and some Saturdays. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement, PTO, pet discount, and a generous 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience in a veterinary setting is preferred.
• Experience executing clinical HR functions, including SOPs, evaluations, and disciplinary action.
• Ability to quickly learn and utilize our practice management system.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations, with a primary focus on personnel management, including hiring, training, and development.
• Manage hospital operations, including scheduling and inventory management.
• Guide and coach colleagues toward continuous improvement, maintaining a strong commitment to the client experience.

Orchard Road Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Practice Manager to provide leadership and structure to our team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff. With a solid understanding of the veterinary industry, and prior experience overseeing hospital operations, you'll be responsible for leading with clarity, managing multiple priorities, and contributing directly to the ongoing excellence of the hospital and the well-being of the animals we care for.

Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 per year, determined by the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.

Schedule: Monday-Friday and some Saturdays.
