BluePearl Pet Hospital Practice Manager Job Description
BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to join our state-of-the-art emergency and specialty hospital.
Responsibilities:
- Mentor, develop, and lead a team of 30+ staff members to excel in patient care and customer service.
- Partner with and oversee the doctor team, medical team, and client service representatives, guiding their development.
- Manage financial and strategic business development to ensure hospital profitability.
- Handle relationships with primary care DVMs and patient referral bases with sensitivity.
- Develop intra-staff relationships, HR issues, and ensure legal compliance at all levels.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred; CVPM designation a plus.
- 3-5 years of successful management experience in complex organizations, preferably in veterinary, healthcare, hospitality, or client services industries.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Excellent time management, organizational, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to multitask with attention to detail.
- Effective communication with employees and external contacts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Discretion, confidentiality, and sound business judgment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and internet applications.
