Job summary

Animal Medical Care in Gainesville, GA, is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead our hospital team and support growth. You will partner with hospital and regional leadership to foster a positive culture, strengthen performance, and ensure efficient operations while maintaining high-quality veterinary care.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, manage administrative, financial, and HR functions, and drive growth through strategic planning and exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a managerial role, preferably in a veterinary practice or healthcare setting.
• CVPM, CVBL and/or a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or other relevant areas are preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated experience in P&L management and financial analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all practice staff, including veterinary technicians, receptionists, and support staff.
• Oversee budgeting, billing, and expense management; monitor revenue and costs.
• Develop staff schedules to balance patient care with labor costs.
• Drive marketing, community outreach, and client relations initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and health, safety, and labor laws.
• Train staff on practice technology; coordinate with IT support.
