Job summary

Truesdell Animal Care Hospital in Madison, WI is seeking a Full-Time Practice Manager to lead the team, culture, and operations. You will drive growth, collaborate with the Partner Doctor, and build a hospital where great medicine and strong business go hand in hand.

The role offers a competitive salary range of $75,000–$95,000 with a potential bonus up to 15% and a path to equity ownership for high performers. Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays and partnership opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare management, or related field preferred
• managerial experience in healthcare/vet setting required
• Experience with practice management systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Own hospital growth: set vision, make decisions, deliver business outcomes
• Collaborate with Partner Doctor on growth goals and obstacle removal
• Recruit and develop staff, create a culture where team can excel
• Champion client experience from first call to follow-up and build loyalty
• Lead day-to-day operations: staffing, scheduling, inventory, facilities
• Drive financial performance: manage P&L and profitability without compromising care
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and hospital policies
