Job summary

PIPESTONE Veterinary Services in the Orange City, IA Area is seeking an energetic Veterinary Physician Assistant to join our fast-paced swine health team. You will work directly with producers, support veterinarians, and address health challenges to improve animal agriculture.

You will identify disease challenges through on-farm assessments, build strong relationships with pig farmers, and participate in site assessments, training programs, and securing pork health plans.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset.
• Agricultural swine facilities experience in rural communities.
• Regular outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Some overnight travel required, hearing protection may be needed.

What You'll Do

Physical Requirements

• Frequent bending, reaching, squatting, and kneeling
• Ability to occasionally lift, pull, or move up to 50 pounds

• Willingness to travel as needed
